When promoting drastic life changes participants like to see the facts of what making those changes can actually do to their lives. Statistics would bring the number aspect that some people prefer. For example 10.5% of the U.S. population which is about 26.8 million people have been diagnosed with diabetes in the year of 2018 (quote). I would also examples both good and bad to show consequences and results to an individual to someone who dies and does not make those drastic changes when they are on the verge of becoming diabetic.
After broadcasting the outcome of poor health, I would demonstrate how important it is to take the A1C test. This test can help monitor blood sugar for those with diabetes but also for check levels for pre diabetes. Doctors may use the A1C alone or in combination with other diabetes tests to make a diagnosis it. The key health message to portray is to be as healthy as possible; not only with eating healthy and exercising but taking precautions like the A1C, because taking precautions beforehand can eliminate things before they occur. Overall, through everything I promote I would keep positivity throughout. That would be my approach because when you are trying to change someone’s view on things, negativity can make it difficult someone to actually comprehend what you are try to portray, and make those changes
