Economic inequality described: Economic inequality is a social problem in that effects a majority of people throughout the world. While specific populations are said to be affected most, economic inequality has an effect on all populations. This social problem occurs when there is an overall uneven distribution within an economy consists of three main categories of inequalities which are income, pay, and wealth. Income consists of all aspects of the economic benefits from wages and bonuses to pensions and state benefits. Pay is purely the earrings from employers while wealth consists of one’s assets such as owned real estate and stocks/bonds.
