Purpose: You will develop the Multicultural Lesson Plan based on your knowledge of culturally diverse populations.: Step One: Multicultural Lesson Plan Introduction (due in Unit 2: 30 Points) To begin planning your Multicultural Lesson Plan, you will examine the area of multicultural education and prioritize the topics until a single topic that is responsive to your current grade level and content area is revealed. If you are not teaching at this time, select the grade level and content area you plan to teach in the future. While planning, examine your content area of interest and develop a lesson that incorporates multiculturalism within that content area.

Prioritize your topics and select one topic for lesson plan development. Use the list of goals shown in the images in the other PDF attached titled “ Goals of a Multicultural Curriculum”. But DO NOT COPY the lessons in Appendix A; instead use those samples lessons to build an awareness of the elements needed to meet your assignment’s goals.
