Suppose that you are the leader of a team of significant size. One of your team members is ready to handle more responsibilities. What will you do to facilitate the team member’s transition to a lead role in your team? How will you help that person to transition from the role of a peer to the role of a leader?
This week, you will learn about ethical leadership and followership with respect to power and empowerment. You will also learn about measures to increase personal and interpersonal effectiveness in maintaining healthy relationships.

Week 3 Discussion Assignment: Power
Power can be defined as the ability to bring about changes in the immediate environment. Power can be exercised by an individual, or a group over other individuals, groups, or organizations.
Based on your reading for this week:
How would an ethical leader and an unethical leader use power? Provide hypothetical or real examples to support your answer.
With these thoughts in mind: Write 3-4 paragraphs that discusses how an ethical leader and an unethical leader would use power. Provide hypothetical or real examples to support your answer.

Chapter 13 explains the factors required to make champions of the people who are related to you in your personal and professional lives.
Focus on the 10 suggested keys that help in making champions of the people around you.
